Ok so this is my very 1st blog entry here, maybe you're one of those people (like me) who just doesn't have money to pay mmo's or doesn't have a credit card and so you only play free to play, well Lineage 2 is one of the best mmo's, but yes you have to pay, luckily there's a way to play for free, it's quite simple and maybe a lot of people already know this, but there are private servers, this means this servers are run by people different from NC Soft, the downside of this is that maybe the support won't be very good, and maybe you'll have a bit of lag, and stuff like that, but there are very good private servers:

There are only a few thing you need to know:

1.-You'll need the L2 client which you can get here at mmosite, but first check the version of the server you want to play in, to see if you need c4 or c5

2.-Try to pick servers with at least c4 cause there are ones with c2 or c3 wich is a very old version of the Lineage 2 Adena game

3.-Check the rates 2x or 10x etc that means that maybe it's 15x exp 20x adena wich means you get 15 times more exp than the normal rate and 20 times more money, don't be dissapointed by this fact, believe me this makes the game more enjoyable, as you will lvl up faster and it will save you a lot of time.

4.-After you have the client installed, and you have chosen a private server, you will ave to download the private server patch that will allow you to connect to the private server instead of the nc soft servers, each private server has it's own patch, it shouldn't be very big in size.

5.-And also you'll need to register an account at the private server.
